Howling Flats Farm is a small family-run farm on 15 acres in North Canaan, Connecticut. Turned off by the inhumane treatment of animals on “factory farms”, as well as the overuse of antibiotics and genetically modified feed, they began farming in 2010. They offer grass-fed, free of hormones and antibiotics, Angus beef, pasture-raised pigs that eat soy-free and non-gmo grain along with local hay. Bundles and subscriptions are available through their website, with home delivery or scheduled “meet ups”.
