A Benedictine commitment to manual work by nuns and community volunteers help work this sustainable 450 acre farm that has vegetable gardens, a beef herd, dairy, and sheep. Through the on-site Monastic Art Shop visitors can buy cheese, hand crafted honey and almond soaps, beeswax lip balms, bread, jams, jellies, leather products from the hides of their beef herd, grass-fed beef, and more. UPDATE: The Monastic Art Shop and other buildings are closed to the public due to construction and COVID-19.  Check their website for updates.
