Autumn Harvest Orchard, LLC is a Certified Naturally Grown orchard, vegetable farm and apiary. This means that we use farming practices that promote healthy soils, reduce pests and protect our environment. Our goal is to produce the highest quality of local, naturally grown produce for residents in western Connecticut. We specialize in certified naturally grown apples, pears, blueberries, chestnuts vegetables and honey. All of our produce and honey is grown without pesticides or herbicides in the growing process. Operated completely organically, with no pesticides, no fertilizers, no fungicides, and no genetically modified seeds or plants. Adjacent to Steep Rock Preserve, and originally known as Hartwell Farm. Not only are the vegetables, fruit, berries and mushrooms organic and not genetically modified, but they make every effort to ensure that any plant: from shade trees to hostas, that they bring in are grown from seed. The wildflowers are organic, and fill dirt is organic. According to their website, why do they do it? “To save the world and beat cancer, of course!” Farmstand at the farm.
